Dorothy Waites

Dorothy Overstreet Waites passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Clarence J. Jimerson Chapel of Serenity Funerals and Cremations. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Dorothy, was born August 31, 1921 in Ennis, TX to William H and Pearle White Overstreet. She had 8 brothers and     sisters; Elnora, Arthur, James, Ruby, Willie Mae, Mildred, Thomas and Minnie. They all preceded her in death.  She was blessed with one son, Donald Ray Tropez. She was married to Earlie Waits, who proceeded her in death in 1995. She is survived by her son, Donald and wife Barbara; Grand-daughter Donna Woods and husband Ray; step-grandsons, John Keith Hollie and Kenneth Hollie; great grandchildren Breanna and Evan Woods, great-great grandchildren Dominic and Zane Woods; and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
