Frank Coe Williams was born September 27, 1935 to the parentage of Bennie Leroy and Mae Bell Wheelock Williams In Roby, Texas and the family relocated to Sweetwater, Texas in 1943.
He accepted Christ and was baptized at a very early age. Frank attended the Sweetwater High School where he was an All-Star Basketball Player.
Frank Williams was drafted into the United States Army and served his Country. He worked and retired from Winn Dixie after 35 years of service as a Warehouse Supervisor.
After moving to Fort Worth, Texas he united with the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and during his membership at Fellowship, he served on the usher board and also served as a Trustee.
Fran’s favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers. He loved the Price is Right, and recorded it every chance he got, was even a contestant on the show once, after retirement, he had a lot of time to relax and enjoy being home and one thing you would always catch him doing is watching Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful. He will have the best time talking about his daily favorites with his niece, Wanda.
On Monday, May 27, 2024, Frank Coe Williams heard the “Master” say “Well Done” and he moved from “Time into Eternity”. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bennie Lee Corona of Sweetwater, Texas, Willie Lee Collins of Grand Prairie, Texas and John L. Williams of Arlington, Texas.
Those left with fond and beautiful memories: wife, Mary Williams; children, Gwen Carrington (Alvin), Jacqueline Houston Williams-Washington, Ronnie Williams, Angela Gaddis (Daijin), Cory Williams, Michael Harlin, Less Harlin (Badia), and Fredrick Burns (Sheka); 23 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great- Great Grandchildren; sister, Mattie Benton of Modesto, California and a number of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
