Jo Pearl Thomas passed May 17, 2018. FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Sat. at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Cedar Hill.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      To everything there is a season; a time to be born”...Ecclesiastes 3:1 Jo Pearl Thomas was born on December 6, 1959, in the great City of Longview, Texas, to proud parents; Ezekiel Thomas and Erma Jean Sterling. She relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in 1962. “When I was a child”… II Corinthians 13:11 She was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District and was a proud graduate of Polytechnic High School. She accepted Christ at an early and was baptized. She returned to Longview, Texas to go to school to become a nurse. “A time to love’….Ecclesiastes 3:4 Jo Pearl had a love which was far greater to her than anyone could image, her family. She  enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; she was always the life of any gathering and especially loved meeting new people; she never met a stranger. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved. She was a tender and gentle soul and will truly be missed by all that knew her. “I am now ready to be offered”… II Timothy 4:6 On May 17, 2018, “in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye,” Jo Pearl left us to be with her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her father, Ezekiel Thomas. “I will not leave you comfortless”…St. John 14:13 Cherished memories are left with her dear mother, Erma Jean Sterling and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
