Lashonda Nacole Lavan

On July 01, 1974, God sent a blessing to earth through the parents-Sharon Ann Evans and Robert Williams.

LaShonda was reared by her Maternal Grandmother-Delores Evans Jordan.

LaShonda received an education through the Houston Independent School District.

LaShonda accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. R.J. Jones. She later united with Word of Promise Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Pastor S. Williams. She remained a member until her passing.

LaShonda was united in marriage to Anthony Lavan on May 12, 2001. To this union two children were born-Anthony III and Ashton. The couple also had three daughters-LaToysha, Sharon and Chardae’.

Her lifetime career was spent in Real Estate. She had an impeccable passion for being a Leasing Manager. She was fantastic in that title, because she had a “heart” for people. LaShonda recognized the importance of people having a “home” as opposed to just a place to live.

LaShonda had an enormous zest and zeal for life, family and friends. She constantly orchestrated fun events for family, friends and the residents. She was always willing to assist children in any way needed to navigate them through life matters.

LaShonda had and displayed such a love and appreciation for God. She was “on fire” for the Lord. She was constantly elevating her faith walk. She continuously praised God and thanked Jesus throughout “her journey”. during her journey with illness, she never wavered in her faith walk with Jesus.

LaShonda is preceded in death by:

Grandmother-Delores Evans Jordan Nephew- Darrall Thomas Niece- Kiona Evans

LaShonda leaves to forever love and cherish her memory: Husband-Anthony Lavan I, Sons-Anthony III (Shanti) and Ashton; Daughters- LaToysha (Triwayne), Sharon and Chardae’(Kenneth).

Granddaughter-Askai.

Siblings- Quentin Evans, LaKita Evans Carr (Arthur), Connie Renee Jefferson, Bruce Atlee and Robert Williams Jr.

Aunts- Johnetta Evans Thomas, Linda Evans and Sally Jordan Hubbard (Tyrone)

Uncles- JohnAnthony Jordan, LaRanthony Jordan and Robert L. Evans Foster (Trudy)
