LaTisha Charmaine Meads affectionately known as “Tee” was born on November 10,1989 to Zack Meads IV and the late Cathrise Woods-Nelson. She was preceded in death by her mother Cathrise Woods-Nelson, her Aunt Cheryl Denise Woods, her Grandfathers Zack Meads Jr. & Curtis Journee, her Grandmother Ethel Meads, and her brother John Gerald Nelson.
She leaves to carry her legacy: her wife, Ashunta De’shae Meads, and their children, Dezeyriah, Patricee, Draya and Christoper. She is survived by: her father Zack Meads IV (Cordell ), her siblings, Johnté, Johntrise, Angelique, & Kagney Nelson, her “big” sister Johna Hill (Jae), her grandmother Eunice Woods (Mommy), bonus mom Linda, bonus dad John Nelson, former husband Daryl Washington, her Uncles Derek and Daryl Woods, her Aunts Donna, Debra, and Clare Woods and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also to cherish her memories; her family from the New Home Family Worship Center, Girls of Destine, C’MO fitness, and Nehemiah Center.
LaTisha Charmaine Meads was Baptized at Perfect Love World Revival Ministries in New Orleans, LA on July 20th, 2003. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High school in Baton Rouge, LA in 2007. She received her Associates Degree In Business from Houston Community College in June of 2014, and she worked as a Certified Personal Trainer. She was employed with 9 Rounds Kickboxing, Nehemiah Center and was the owner and operator of C’MO Fitness, Media, Jewelz, Sweet Treats, and Print @press. As a member of New Home Family Worship Center, “Tee” Served faithfully in the media ministry, under the leadership of Bishop R.C Blakes, her spiritual father/pastor.
To know Tee was to love her. She had a passion for basketball, health and fitness that propelled her to owning her own gym. She was the true essence of a “gentle giant” and Momma Gummy to her family. She was loyal, kind, and committed to all of her family. She will be greatly missed in so many ways.
