Monique Nicole Tyler

Monique Nicole Tyler was born May 19, 1985 in Peru, Indiana to the parentage of Vanessa Johnson and

Johnny Lorenzo Tyler. In 1990 the family relocated to Fort Worth, Texas where she attended the Fort

Worth independent School District where she graduated from O. D. Wyatt High School. She later

attended TCJC Community College.

At an early age, Monique accepted Christ as her personal Savior and attended the Baptist Church.

Monique was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend. She loved to shop, travel and do hair. She

found joy cooking for her family.

As her profession, Monique worked as a Teacher at La Petite Academy where she loved working with

the children and shared a special bond with them.

On the 5 th day of February, 2024, Monique Nicole Tyler heard the Master say “Well Done” and

transitioned to her Heavenly Home. She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Lorenzo Tyler;

grandmother, Della M. Tyler; great grandparents, R.J. and Bertha Nelson.

Those left to cherish her loving memory: her children, Anyiah Lanae London, Makayra Ranae Tyler,

Henry Lee Riser, III. and Malayia Deznae Wells; loving mother, Vanessa Johnson (Thomas); siblings, Eddie

Melvin Cobb, Jr. (Ladashia) and Timika Lashay White; grandmother, Ruby R. Torrence and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends
